Among the must-see2023 Christmas markets in Paris, don't miss the Alsatian Christmas market, located on the Parvis de la Gare de l'Est. This year's gourmet Christmas market runs from Friday December 1 to Sunday December 17, 2023. And for this new, 41st edition of the oldest Alsatian Christmas market outside the region, all the gourmet traditions of the Alsatian festive season take pride of place under a marquee that smells of Alsace.
Kougelhopf, Mannele in gingerbread and brioche, bredele, potato pancakes, Munster, palette... In December, it's time to discover all these Alsatian specialties in Paris. It's an opportunity to taste the best of Alsace's terroir and travel to the festive season of 2023 without leaving the capital.
For this 41st edition, you'll find a dozen artisans ready to tantalize your taste buds with a variety of local products, all hand-crafted. On the menu? Wines, liqueurs and eaux-de-vie from Domaine Jean Becker, charcuterie and cheese from Christlesgut, gingerbread and cookies from Fortwenger, fresh Alsatian pasta from Tante Germaine, pastries, confectionery and chocolates from Pâtisserie Oster, and Christmas decorations too!
To prepare your 2023 festive meal, visit the stands of the dozen Alsatian artisans on the Parvis de la Gare de l'Est in Paris from December 1 to 17. For just over two weeks, you'll be able to discover the very best of Alsatian gastronomy, with jams and confectionery, gingerbread, charcuterie, sauerkraut, cheeses and wine.
