A giant Japanese Christmas market at the gates of Paris: Shizen 2024 at Cité Fertile

When we think of Christmas markets in Paris, it's often the image of traditional chalets and string lights that comes to mind. However, this year at Cité Fertile, we invite you to discover Shizen, a different and enriching experience. In its fourth year, this Japanese Christmas market will cover an area of 10,000 square metres on December 7 and 8.

With over 80 exhibitors, you'll be able to discover and celebrate all the arts and crafts of Japan. If last year's edition is anything to go by, we're expecting to find :

• Illustrations
• Local teas
• Design and decorative objects
• A garage sale
• Clothing, including kimonos
• And, of course, a wide selection of sakes!

But that's not all. Shizen isn't just a market, it's a journey into the heart of Japanese culture. During your visit, you'll be encouraged to take part in workshops such as :
