With its exhibition Peru before the Incas, the Musée du Quai Branly reveals the history of the now-forgotten societies that populated Peru and the Andean Cordillera as long as 1500 years ago. Ceramic and wooden objects, gold jewelry, ornaments and emblems: over 300 objects are brought together to show the primordial influence that Andean societies had on subsequent civilizations, notably the Incas.
