After a cancellation due to the demonstrations against the pension reform, the Extraordinary Garden of Frutti and Veggi returns to the Nelson Mandela Garden, in front of the St-Eustache church, from June 14 to 17, 2023. For four days, children and adults are invited to discover the benefits of fresh fruits and vegetables in a unique sensory experience that appeals to all our senses, thanks to numerous activities!

From 10am to 6pm, the mascots Frutti and Veggi will accompany children in a fun and tasty adventure, in the heart of a colorful plant trail. To begin with, you have to answer some riddles, then you go to the vegetable garden, where you discover how fruits and vegetables grow in season. Then we play scientist in the Laboratory, we taste amazing dishes and we try to guess by the smell which fruit or vegetable is hidden behind a trap door! During the Pimp your juice workshop, parents and children will have to join forces to pedal and taste a smoothie with surprising flavors. Before a photocall with the mascots, to immortalize the day!
This free garden is proposed by Interfel, the fresh fruit and vegetable trade association, and co-financed by the European Union, as part of the "European Fraich' Force" program. On this occasion, children will be able to meet the plant mascots during 150 days dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of fresh fruit and vegetables in the daily lives of French children, in a selection of supermarkets and greengrocers.
And above all, don't forget to eat five fruits and vegetables a day!
