It's the very first weekend of the summer vacations! That's why Le 6b is getting into the swing of summer for schoolchildren, and working with the D'ici à là association to organize the Livres en herbe festival, dedicated to books, comics and children's literature. It's the perfect opportunity to take the kids on a fun-filled outing, read a book and take advantage of Le 6b 's beautiful surroundings!
What's on the agenda? Discover the participative and creative workshops on offer, learn how to make your own personalized book, learn how toillustrate comics, discover different engraving techniques or learn how to write your own adventure story. A book hunt is also planned, with a whole host of clues to be unearthed in the garden of Le 6b to find the treasure hidden there... You'll also have the chance to listen to stories and discover the Saint-Denis canal during a storytelling walk around the water. The good news is that the Livres en herbe festival is a real bargain for families, since all activities are free, as is admission!
If you've never visited Le 6b before, now's your chance to discover this third-party space set up on a brownfield site in Saint-Denis. Since it opened in 2010, the venue has been bringing together artists, local residents and Parisians for concerts, debates, performances and events for all! Why not head there for the 4th edition of Livres en herbe, on July 8 and 9?
