Is it possible toski without leaving the Paris region? It just might be! In any case, that's what the town of Rambouillet has come up with for its Snow Sunday, a festive family afternoon that will immerse you in the mountains for just a few hours.
Welcome to Le Grand Bornand in the Paris region, or rather, to Rambouillet, the town in the Yvelines département that will be transformed into a ski resort on Sunday, March 3, 2024! On the program? Ice sculpture and snowman creation workshops, various games, inflatables... But above all, mountain specialities offered by shopkeepers and food-trucks, including lots and lots of cheese, to warm you up in the middle of winter. At the end of the day, "Première étoile " - a film with almost as much of a cult following as "Les Bronzés font du ski" in the "ski vacation" theme - will also be screened outdoors, with deckchairs and blankets available to keep you warm!
In keeping with the mountain atmosphere, ski suits and moon-boots will be the order of the day, as part of the dress code for this Sunday in the snow, organized near Rambouillet. Please note: all events and activities are completely free and open to all, so all you have to do is don your ski suit and après-skis, and head for Place de la Libération on Sunday, March 3, in Rambouillet!
