A not-to-be-missed summer event, the Fête nationale returns on July 14, 2024. Like every year, it's a chance to enjoy a free, convivial evening with friends and family, dance the night away at a popular ball, and marvel at the "red, blue, green and yellow beauties" of the fireworks display as you shoot off'Wow' after 'Wow'.
This traditional event has been celebrated every year since the Fête de la Fédération in 1790, and the storming of the Bastille the year before. It's a way of celebrating the unity of the nation and the advent of the republican model. So, are you ready to celebrate?
To all Val-de-Marne residents, the town of Santeny will be taking part, but be warned: the festivities will be held two days before D-day, on Friday July 12, 2024. Many towns in the Île-de-France region, with their own traditions and celebrations, celebrate the Fête Nationale on July 13, July 14 (or even both days), and now on July 12 too, so as not to encroach on the fireworks displays of neighboring towns.
July 14th, from 7pm, on the 4 Saules site (Voie aux Vaches)
