As part of the Fête Nationale festivities, the Caserne Rousseau in Paris's 1st arrondissement awaits you this July 13 for the traditional Bal des Pompiers! From 9pm onwards, come and dance the night away in support of the Paris firefighters, and who knows... maybe you'll find a firefighter to take home with you?

July 14th is France's national holiday! An emblematic date of the French Revolution, commemorating the storming of the Bastille in 1789, as well as the Fête de la Fédération in 1790. Today, this day is synonymous with patriotic celebrations, with military parades on the Champs-Élysées, fireworks lighting up the Eiffel Tower and numerous festivities across the country. But what makes the day just as memorable is the famous Bal des Pompiers, which takes place all over the country.
