Montmartre is decked out in Christmas colors, to the delight of locals and tourists alike. This picturesque Christmas village will be set up right next to the Sacré Coeur, on the legendary Place des Abbesses, illuminated for the occasion, from November 22, 2024 to January 7, 2025.
French artisans take pride of place in this Montmartre Christmas village. Some twenty local designers and producers will be showcasing their expertise: jewelry, pottery, scarves, Christmas decorations and other artisanal French products are on the menu of discoveries.
As far as your taste buds are concerned, you can sample specialities from different regions of France: honey from Paris, foie gras from Périgord, pretzels from Alsace, raclettes and tartiflettes, tapenades from Provence, cheeses from the Pyrenees, dried fruit, cookies, teas, macaroons and hot chestnuts. And don't forget our famous homemade spiced mulled wine!
Santa Cl aus will of course be coming to meet the children, who will be able to deliver their letters, take photos and collect some sweets, every Sunday from 11am to 1pm until December 24th. All this in the wonderful setting of Montmartre, at the foot of the Basilica!
