Butte Montmartre: priority to pedestrians and cyclists with new facilities

The City of Paris is transforming the Butte Montmartre into a peaceful, sustainable space. Since November 18, 2024, work has been underway to create an open pedestrian area around the Sacré-Coeur. The redevelopment, which will be completed on August 31, 2025, will eliminate parking spaces, limit speed and improve access for pedestrians and cyclists.
