Fancy an earlyEaster? Head for the Château de Villiers park, in Draveil, Essonne, to take part in a traditional egg hunt on Saturday, April 6, 2024. The event, organized by the town's cultural department, features a race punctuated by a number of riddles and other games, for a fun-filled family day out!
By giving a "magic" answer phrase, children (up to 12 years old) will be able to pick up Easter chocolates donated by the town, and enjoy them straight away (or wait until the weekend of March 30-April 1). Children will be greeted by the Mascotte bunny, who will show them the way. It's also a good idea to bring a working pen.
It's a fun egg hunt for the whole family, but above all a chance to enjoy a lovely stroll through the grounds of the Château, a true "country house" built in 1782, before it was destroyed by fire. The building then became a Louis XVI-style château. More recently, the château became a media library in 1991, and hosts numerous cultural events. So don't hesitate to drop in, folks!
