The Musée de Montmartre is offering a wild egg hunt on Sunday April 20 and Monday April 21, 2025. The event takes place in the gardens of the Musée Montmartre. What's on offer? Chocolates, workshops, entertainment and a great day out.

Are you looking for a lovely egg hunt in Paris, in a charming, bucolic setting? Once again this year, the Musée de Montmartre is offering children aged 2 to 12 a great Easter egg hunt, this Sunday, April 20 and 21, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. As with all great egg hunts in Paris, book early!

The meeting point is the Jardins Renoir, the famous gardens of the Musée de Montmartre, which the children can inspect from top to bottom in search of the precious Easter eggs. Their mission: find 5 eggs of the same color hidden among the gardens' flowers, trees and shrubs, and then exchange them for the coveted chocolates.

Once five eggs of the same color have been collected, it's time for the reward: chocolates to enjoy on the spot or to slip into the basket. But the adventure doesn't end there. Some rare and coveted golden eggs are hidden among the bushes and flower beds. Children who discover them will receive a special surprise, making this 2025 edition even more exciting.

In addition to the hunt, creative workshops are offered throughout the day. From Easter coloring to tasselled rabbits and spring decorations, youngsters can let their imaginations run wild under the watchful eye of the museum staff. It's a gentle way to extend the festivities, while discovering this place steeped in history, where Auguste Renoir lived.

The setting itself is well worth the detour. Located on rue Cortot, the gardens offer a rare view of Paris and an almost bucolic calm, just a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of Place du Tertre. There are several options for getting there: take the Lamarck-Caulaincourt or Anvers metro stations , then the funicular, a climb that prolongs the magic from the moment you arrive.

Participation is free for under-12s, €8 for 13-17s and €15 per adult. Please note that registration is compulsory, and must be made directly on the Musée de Montmartre's online ticketing service. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.

A great opportunity to combine culture, games and chocolate in one of the capital's most charming gardens. And maybe, who knows, you'll walk away with one of the famous golden eggs...
