The Moroccan Airports Authority (ONDA) announced on Friday the "extension of the halting of all commercial flights from and to Morocco until January 31, 2022".
Shorty after, the Royal Air Maroc airline released on Twitter a statement reading they were to complete a few exceptional flights to Belgium, Spain, France, Italy and Mauritania between January 1 and 31, 2022.
Furthermore, facing with the quick spread of the new variant, Morocco ended this past Thursday the system aiming at repatriating citizens stuck abroad and has extended health emergency until January 31, 2022.
Note passengers' sea ways are on hold as well until December 31, according to Moroccan business newspaper Médias24.
