Following on from the government's energy voucher scheme, the Île-de-France region has also decided to contribute with a 250-euro "energy boost" for several thousand households. Find out if you're eligible.

Prices have continued to soar, and inflation continues to climb. To address the energy crisis that has been going on for several months, the Île-de-France region has decided to add its contribution with a new incentive, a 250 euro grant for the most vulnerable households in the region. However, not everyone will be eligible: only 160,000 households in the region will be able to take advantage of this assistance, to pay for fuel, electricity or gas.

As for all the aids proposed by the government before, this one also depends on the fiscal income, which will have to be lower or equal to 60% of the regional median fiscal income, that is to say 14 802 euros per year. This assistance is reserved for the most vulnerable, as gas bills have risen by almost 30% in the region by 2023. The inhabitants of the Ile-de-France region can register to apply for this scheme on a platform put online on the website of the Ile-de-France region from July 1 to October 1.

But be quick, as this aid is on a first-come, first-served basis!
