Many users have confessed to receiving transfers of several thousand euros from X, formerly Twitter, into their bank accounts.Elon Musk 's social network is showing off its new feature: the monetization of publications. But to earn money from your tweets, you need to meet a number of criteria.

The first requirement is to be a subscriber to X Premium (formerly Twitter Blue), X's paid service (€9.60 per month), but also to have a large reach. A minimum of 500 subscribers and 15 million views on all tweets in the last three months are required to earn money. What's more, these views must themselves come from accounts that have subscribed to X Premium.
The calculation is still unclear to users, and even those who do earn money aren't sure what to expect. But the first payments correspond to views generated over the last six months, since February, which is why the amounts of the first checks are so large. For the AlertesInfos Twitter account, which announced that it had earned nearly €7,000, it's actually an amount of€1,141 per month over the last six months .
