Paris 13th arrondissement isn’t the only place celebrating the Chinese New Year.
The Faubourg Saint Honoré celebrates the Chinese New Year this Saturday January 25, 2020 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.. with a traditional show with dragons, lanterns and bright colors on rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
About thirty artists, colorful characters and percussionists are expected to give passersby a spectacular show made of lions, mythic dragons, synonym of nobility and said to bring luck at the pace of traditional rhythms.
Note that fortune cookies will be given as well.
And to mark the new year, the year of the Rat, the Faubourg Saint-Honoré will be lined by two giant lit doors in tribute to China, on rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and Rue Royale. An opportunity for passersby to gather!
In short, a lovely event to welcome the year of the Rat and launch the spring festival in a beautiful and colorful atmosphere!
