How about celebrating the Chinese New Year in Paris, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower? To celebrate the year of the Rat, the Eiffel Tower expects us on Saturday January 25, 2020 from 11 a.m. to noon.
On the menu, a parade led by 16 dancers from the Association Française de Danse du Dragon et du Lion Chinois [French Association of Chinese Dragon and Lion Dance] with the presence of two world champions.
Dancers will perform traditional dance specially created for the moment, lasting 7 to 8 minutes each, on the sound of the drums and traditional cymbals. Enjoy demonstrations of spins and jumps.
In other words, if you’re looking for a nice and free event to mark this Asian-inspired day, here’s an original idea to celebrate the Lunar New Year on one of the most emblematic sites in town.
Happy Year of the Rat to all!
