Chinese New Year 2023 Parade at the Place de la République

The traditional Chinese New Year Parade going through the Marais area, expects you on Sunday January 22, 2023, from Place de la République.

It is certainly one of the most beautiful parades in the city to enjoy from 2:30 p.m., by the square, after the opening ceremony with dance of the dragons and lions. To the rhythm of drums and cymbals, several dancers, dragons and lions will celebrate the first day of the Year of the Water Rabbit.

The route:

The parade will leave from Place de la République, go to rue Turbigo, continue on rue Beaubourg and then rue de la Verrerie.

In addition to this festive parade, note a lion dance show will be held this Saturday January 21, at 5:30 p.m., at the 3rd arrondissement city hall.
