Lunar New Year is being celebrated in Paris and the Île-de-France region! Between the beautiful parades, such as the one on theChamps-Elysées, the most famous in the 13th arrondissement, and the many events surrounding this great traditional festival, there's plenty to do to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The Wat Thammapatip pagoda, in Lieusaint, will also be part of the festivities on Saturday February 1 and Sunday February 2, 2025, under the sign of the wooden snake.
What's on the menu? You'll find the usual street food stalls, with Asian specialities such as pad thai, kai tos, phô, beef with onions, excellent banana fritters... Buddhist ceremonies and prayers will also be held over the weekend.
Please note: the pagoda is open to all, but is first and foremost a place of worship and meditation, and you should respect this when you visit. While you're there, take the opportunity to discover the 1001 golden statues that adorn the pagoda garden! Happy Lunar New Year to all!
