Fête de la Musique 2024: festive open-air at La REcyclerie

Every June 21, it's time to get together with family and friends for the Fête de la Musique, the longest day of the year marking the summer solstice. In Paris, many groups perform in the streets, public squares, cafés and gardens: shall we go?

Every year on the same date, in this case June 21, musicians celebrate music in a convivial way. For a whole day, music of all kinds (rock, rap, electro, classical, blues, jazz, reggae, French variety...) can be heard everywhere, not only in the streets, but also in bars and restaurants, parks and gardens, institutions, museums, churches... The result is a veritable open-air musical feast for Paris and its major cities.

And of course, these concerts are free to the public, who can take advantage of the opportunity to discover new talent, as well as well-known and established artists. While there's no shortage of events in the capital, there's also a fine program on offer at third-party venues in Paris and the Paris region, such as the REcyclerie, near Porte de Clignancourt in the 18th arrondissement.
