To mark the 2018 Fête de la Musique, Diggers Factory is back at it again for the fourth year running, inviting Diggers to their annual sun-and-vinyl celebration on Thursday, June 21, at the intersection of Rue Lamarck and Rue du Mont-Cenis in the 18th arrondissement of Paris.
On the program: vinyl DJ sets and live performances for a jam-packed evening with renowned artists from the independent electronic scene.
Program:
Nick V [Mona Musique]
Nick V, whose career began at the legendary club Le Queen in the '90s, has gone on to enjoy a string of legendary residencies in Paris: Guys & Dolls, Otra Otra, Ballroom à la Java and now Mona at La Bellevilloise. A child of house music and a passionate vinyl collector, his eclectic sets appeal to a mixed, open-minded audience.
Jacques Bon [Smallville Records]
In 2007, Jacques Bon and Pantha Du Prince opened the Paris branch of Smallville Records, which quickly became a must for electronic music diggers. Since then, he has been actively involved in the artistic renewal of the global house scene, inviting artists such as Omar S, Kassem Mosse, Traumprinz, Dj Jus-Ed and Move D to play in the Parisian clubs where he is a regular. Also a producer, he regularly teams up with Christopher Rau or Chicago House pioneers Virgo Four for excellent vinyl releases.
Nick Galemore [Kindisch / Get Physical Music]
Between Sleeps [Diggers F]
A regular resident at Diggers Factory events, Between Sleeps is a multi-faceted DJ and producer from Paris. His Deep and Techno-influenced vinyl sets never cease to surprise and never tire. He'll be presenting his brand-new live set for the first time, so don't miss out.
