The Fête de la musique returns on Friday, June 21, 2024 in Paris and everywhere else in France. On this festive and popular day, amateur and professional musicians bring live music to life like never before. In the streets, concert halls and museums, the Fête de la Musique is also celebrated in more unusual places, such as thePitié-Salpêtrière Hospital.
For the third edition of"Fièvres musicales", a piano and chamber music festival at La Pitié-Salpêtrière, the public is invited to come and discover and listen to a series of concerts (paying or free) from June 17 to 23, 2024 in the Saint-Louis chapel at La Pitié-Salpêtrière and in the hospital's buildings and gardens. On the program? Geoffroy Couteau, the Modigliani Quartet, Marie Josephe Jude, Michel Beroff, Lacryma Voce, the AP-HP Choir and Orchestra and the Orchestre des médecins de France. This cultural and musical event is open to patients, nursing staff and the general public.
On Friday, June 21, 2024, to mark the 42nd anniversary of the Fête de la Musique, the"Fièvres musicales" are offering a free concert, accessible by reservation. Starting at 8:30pm, in theÉglise Saint-Louis de la Salpêtrière, join the Sorbonne Université Choir and Orchestra.
