Every June 21, something strange happens: the instruments come out and live music resounds from every street corner! Yes, the Fête de la musique is back every June 21, with its share of free concerts and DJ sets, spread across the four corners of the capital.
And on this day, there's no reason to be jealous, as all styles are represented: from rock to rap, classical music to electro, jazz to blues, French variety to reggae... A wide range of genres will be showcased in the streets, of course, but also in bars and restaurants, parks, squares and gardens, as well as in museums, cultural centers and institutions.
If you're looking for a good music event in the north of Paris, head to the 18th arrondissement for J'veux du Soleil and its series of free concerts.
As a reminder, J'veux du Soleil organizes exhibitions of artists and creators in the 18th arrondissement to promote art in all its forms. Events have taken place in venues as diverse as the premises of U.V.A, Mom'artre, Maison des Associations, Secours Populaire, the crypt of Saint-Jean de Montmartre, Saint-Pierre de Montmartre church and the Bon Coin boutique.
For this year's Fête de la musique, J'veux du Soleil is taking over the Carrefour des Cloÿs on Friday June 21, 2024, starting at 7:30pm.
