The Fête de la Musique is back in force this year! An exceptional event that celebrates music in all its forms, initiated in France in 1982, and which has since conquered the whole world. Every June 21, on the summer solstice, music lovers and professionals gather to share their passion in the streets, parks and emblematic venues. In Paris, the atmosphere is electrifying and the melodies take over the city!
And this year, the Fête de la Musique finds a fitting setting at the Crédit Municipal de Paris! Nicknamed the "Mont-de-piété" or "Chez ma tante", Crédit Municipal is a historic financial institution dating back to 1637. Its pawnbroking services have helped generations of Parisians. But did you know that this magnificent building is also a cultural venue? Its sublime architecture and rich history make it an ideal setting for concerts and exhibitions.
Prepare to be dazzled by the Samba band Pingo de Ouro, who will set the Crédit Municipal stage alight during this year's Fête de la Musique!
