Fête de la Musique 2024 in Corbeil-Essonnes (91): bands & DJ Slay Mo, the program in the city

Here it comes again! The Fête de la musique is back, as it is every June 21, with a diverse and varied program sure to appeal to the widest possible audience.

A quick reminder for the younger set: the Fête de la musique is a popular and festive event celebrated every year on June 21. The aim? To give a voice to budding musicians, to enable them to perform live on real stages, to express themselves, to make themselves known and to share their passion with the general public.

While many amateur musicians give concerts on June 21, a number of artists - both well-known and recognized - also don't hesitate to take to the stage and give free concerts in Paris, as well as in several other towns in the Paris region.

Other communes bend over backwards to offer their residents a rich program, both diverse and varied. Corbeil-Essonnes is a case in point. The Essonne town is once again getting in on the action, with a series of musical highlights to be enjoyed free of charge everywhere on Friday, June 21, 2024. Here's the program!

Friday, June 21, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. - Several locations in the city - Free admission

Town Hall locations

• From 12.30 pm to 2 pm, the Galerie d'art municipale invites you to a special " A Midi, j'ai galerie " music festival with the participation of the EANM de la Résidence Coquibus. On the menu? 4 amateur singers from the philanthropic society will perform amidst the "GPS Urban Art Corbeil" exhibition.
  
  
• At Médiathèque-Ludothèque Chantemerle, from 6 p.m. to 6:35 p.m., with the string orchestra and cello ensemble.
  
  
• At Stade Nautique Gabriel Menut, from 7pm to 10pm. DJ night with DJ Slay Mo (funk, Afro, Latin, North African music...) and food truck with a West Indian menu. Free entry for those who just want to enjoy the music on the lawn.
  
  
• At MJC-CS Fernand Léger from 7pm.
  
  
• In front of the Conservatoire Claude-Debussy, Place d'Essonnes, from 8pm: refreshments and catering provided by the Génération Corbeil association and café La Chose Bar. On the music front, you'll find :
