A fine initiative, in short, to bring to life this private mansion and its gardens, located in the heart of the Marais district and built in 1371. The Hôtel de Soubise has been home to French constables, dukes, the Princess de Condé and other great names of the French monarchy. Since then, theHôtel de Soubise has been acquired by the State by imperial decree in 1867, and officially assigned to the Archives de l'Empire: Napoleon I had the archives, which until then had been kept in several Parisian repositories, grouped together.
Enjoy the evening, folks!
