If you happen to be in Eastern Paris, then run to the Parc de la Villette to discover a monumental audiovisual installation by Joanie Lemercier. French climate activist and visual artist, Joanie Lemercier draws inspiration in nature. For the White Night 2022, the artist unveils “Constellations”, a fantastic and sensory journey in three dimensions.

Described as a poetic exploration of the cosmos, this contemporary installation levitates in the night, and a tri-dimensional effect is created thanks to light screened on a curtain made of thin water particles. To top it all, Joanie Lemercier has fun playing with the water reflections of the Canal de l'Ourcq. Note the installation lasts about fifteen minutes and is activated every 30 minutes.
