Nuit Blanche is back in Paris, for a 2024 edition rich in original events and beautiful discoveries. This year, we're off to theInstitut de France, an important historic building located opposite the Louvre, on the other side of the Pont des Arts, for a magical evening. Head for the 6th arrondissement to enjoy free, artistic entertainment at this Paris institution.
TheInstitut de France was created in 1795 by the Constitution of An III, to centralize and promote the discoveries of the world of art and science. The Institut is also known as the"Parliament of the learned world". It comprises the Académie française, the Académie des inscriptions et belles-lettres, the Académie des sciences, the Académie des beaux-arts and the Académie des sciences morales et politiques. This noble Parliament is located on the Quai de Conti, in a former college of the University of Paris.
This seems to be a very classic institution, so its participation in the Nuit Blanche may come as a surprise to some. Indeed, this event is dedicated to contemporary creation. That's why the Institut de France always surprises and enthralls us on this night of art.
During this 23rd edition of Nuit Blanche, this Saturday, June 1, 2024, let yourself be surprised once again by the Institute's exceptional program.
