Make a note of the date in your diary: this Saturday, June 3, 2023, Nuit Blanche returns to Paris and the Île-de-France region! This majorcontemporary art event is one of the capital's not-to-be-missed highlights: for an entire night, performances, exhibitions, installations and encounters are organized throughout the capital.
These free events celebrate contemporary creation in all its forms. In all, over 200 events are scheduled to take place on every street corner in Paris and the surrounding major cities. This vast program includes some rather classic visits... And some totally crazy events!
If it's one of these exceptional shows you're after, we've got just what you're looking for. This Saturday, June 3, take a trip to the Place du Châtelet. This square, located between the Théâtre du Châtelet and the Tour Saint-Jacques, was built on the site of a former fortress, destroyed in the early 19th century. Over the centuries, many Parisians have passed through the square, and many great events have marked its history!
For this Nuit Blanche, the square is hosting a different kind of event, much lighter and more festive, but one that should be just as memorable for visitors.
