La Nuit Blanche, Paris' unmissable cultural event, is back in Paris this Saturday, June 1, 2024! Whether you're a Parisian or just passing through, you'll be able to discover a series of free artistic activities open to all, with art installations, performances, concerts, exhibitions and many other surprises.
Introduced in 2002 for the first time in Paris, the Nuit Blanche aims to makecontemporary art accessible to all, and to liven up the city all night long. The 2024 edition promises a rich and varied program: exhibitions, workshops, screenings, concerts and performances are all on the agenda!
A cultural institution dedicated to promoting and disseminating Arab culture, the Institution du Monde Arabe (IMA) is taking part in Nuit Blanche. Inaugurated in 1987, the institution is the fruit of a partnership between France and 22 Arab League countries. The IMA offers a permanent exhibition, featuring works of art from Antiquity to the present day, as well as various temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
Known for its innovative architecture, with its south-facing façade featuring moucharabiehs, ventilation systems and lighting inspired by Islamic architecture, the IMA boasts a library and media library specializing in the Arab world, open to the public.
