Once again this year, many venues are taking part in Nuit Blanche, including Ircam. Nestled a stone's throw from the Centre Pompidou, Ircam was founded in 1977. Its mission? To foster interaction between scientific research, technological development and contemporary musical creation. So it's no surprise that the Ircam is taking part in this year's Nuit Blanche.

So, what program awaits you this June 1, 2024 at Ircam? The venue intends to take us on a journey through the show"Long Play (LP)/Lovotic". Described as a dance performance by Alexandre Roccoli, the show takes up Soundwalk Collective's collective fable"Lovotic". Inspired by the Golden Disc found on the Voyager space probe in 1977, it transports the spectator into an original sound capture.

Note that the " Long Play (LP)/Lovotic " show can be seen in Ircam's projection space, located in the heart of the building on Place Stravinsky. Created under the direction of Pierre Boulez and closed for 8 years, this projection space is unlike any other concert or performance hall. Nestled at a depth of 16 meters and isolated in an architectural system of nesting boxes, the Espace de projection is a modular venue with variable acoustics. If you've never been there before, now's your chance to discover this unusual venue while enjoying this Nuit Blanche 2024.

For this event, several sessions will be held on June 1 (7pm, 8pm, 9pm and 10pm) with free admission, subject to availability.
