Looking for a Nuit Blanche out of the ordinary? Are you in the Val-de-Marne and don't want to travel too far to enjoy the event? We've got good news for you! The département is once again taking part in Nuit Blanche, held on the night of June 1 to 2, 2024, with numerous events and installations in several towns, to put art at the center of everything, free of charge.
The theme of this 23rd edition, organized by artistic director Claire Tancons, is the French overseas territories. As for installations in the Val-de-Marne, there's plenty to see and do in Alfortville, Nogent-sur-Marne, Gentilly and Champigny-sur-Marne. Exhibitions, artistic performances, concerts... There's something for everyone! And families won't be left out either, with activities just for them!
And for those who want to go further afield, or enjoy the whole night, we don't hesitate to tour installations in neighbouring départements, or even in Paris itself. The evening gives us the opportunity to celebrate art as it should be, from a different angle. We'll also be taking a closer look at museum programming, to take advantage of unprecedented tours by night. In short, a great program awaits you!
Contemporary art really shines on the streets of Val-de-Marne towns! Where do we start?
