The posters for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games are getting new colors! Designer Ugo Gattoni has unveiled a"Celebrations" collector's edition, reimagining the official posters in a nocturnal atmosphere. This exclusive version will go on sale from July 25, the day before the opening ceremony, in very limited copies. Get ready to discover Paris in a whole new light... or rather, at night!
Ugo Gattoni, already renowned for his official daytime posters, has turned a mistake into a fascinating work of art. Last December, a Photoshop mishap accidentally revealed neon colors on his drawing, inspiring this nocturnal version. "I loved doing the refractions of the fireworks on the faces, at the level of the Olympic balcony," confides the artist. The bluish hues and lighting effects plunge Paris into a vibrant, poetic atmosphere, where every detail has been carefully crafted.
This"Celebrations" edition will be available in just 2024 copies, priced at 200 euros each, exclusively on the official Paris 2024 Olympic online store. The poster combines elements from both the Olympic and Paralympic versions, symbolizing the union of the two events. The Eiffel Tower illuminated by fireworks, the floodlights illuminating the sports venues, and the brilliantly illuminated metro trains are all details that make this poster unique.
For those who already own the daytime version, an augmented reality experience is offered via Snapchat. By scanning a QR code, it's possible to discover the night-time poster and its subtleties, offering a virtual immersion in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. A chance to experience the magic of Parisian nights and celebrate the Olympic spirit in a whole new way!
