Summer in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine (93): fill up on free events this summer!

Barely above Paris, the town of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine is offering its residents (and other curious visitors) a fine Audonian summer, with a host of free events for all. If you're looking for a good deal on free swimming this summer, head for Saint-Ouen and its urban beach!

Summer is here to stay in Seine-Saint-Denis: after the great return of theÉté du Canal with its river shuttles from La Villette to Sevran, theÉté Audonien brings the beach back home, with a swimming pool, water games to cool off in, sports workshops for senior citizens and canoe-kayak introductions from the Île-des-Vannes rowing base! There's plenty to do all summer long, for all ages, but above all, there's plenty to cool you down with the expected high temperatures.

L'Été du Canal 2024, the unmissable festival of Parisian canals, is back!
L'Été du Canal is the must-attend summer event in Paris! And with good news, this Parisian summer hotspot is back from July 6 to August 11, 2024. On the program for this 17th edition are free workshops, floating concerts, street art, open-air cinema and strolls along the Canal de l'Ourcq and the Canal Saint-Denis, as well as the Bassin de la Villette. To keep you in the vacation spirit, an ephemeral guinguette is set up on the banks of the Seine throughout the summer vacations ! It's a not-to-be-missed spot to enjoy a drink with friends, dine with the family on the terrace, meet up with friends... And don't forget the open-air cinema screenings organized every two weeks or so in the town's various parks and sports complexes, the astronomy evenings, the sports village in the Grand Parc to let off steam all day long, the dance evenings to get your groove on or the unmissableAudonian Summer closing fireworks display.

For the Olympic Games, the Grand Parc des Docks - where all the activities of the Audonian Summer take place - will be open until midnight during the Games (as opposed to the usual 9pm). A giant screen will be installed in the park to follow the Olympic events, with two special evenings during the opening (July 26) and closing (August 11) ceremonies. From July 3 to August 16, the arrival of the Brazilian delegation in Saint-Ouen will also provide an opportunity to discover this culture through events and encounters.

One thing's for sure: there's no chance of getting bored this summer in Saint-Ouen!
