L'Été du Canal 2025, the must-see summer festival on the canals of Paris

L'Été du Canal is the must-attend summer event in Paris! And the good news is that this Parisian summer hotspot is back from July 5 to August 10, 2025. On the program for this 18th edition: free workshops, floating concerts, street art, open-air cinema and strolls along the canals.

Paris is a party, especially in summer! During the summer season, the capital offers a wide range of great events to enjoy with friends and family. And among the must-see events of theParisian summer is theÉté du Canal, a fun-filled festival on the banks of the Canal de l'Ourcq and the Canal Saint-Denis, as well as the Bassin de la Villette.

Good news, because the Été du Canal returns every weekend from July 5 to August 10, 2025 for an 18th edition that promises to be festive! Entertainment on the water and on the quays awaits you, with floating concerts, open-air balls, street-art, cruises, workshops and sports activities , all free or at a low price.

The program of events on the water includes river shuttles costing 1 or 2 euros, which will take you on a trip along the Canal de l'Ourcq, the Canal Saint-Denis and all the way to the North Loop of the Seine, with a stopover at one of the many events taking place along the quays. Several guided cruises are also on offer: discovery cruises will teach you all about street art, heritage or gastronomy. The concept is taken a step further, as you can even enjoy art exhibitions or fun workshops on board, or attend a cinema screening on the quayside.

Floating concerts are also back, with DJs, musicians and singers performing from the terrace of a boat. On the banks, you'll also find a wild program of events at Le Barboteur, La Prairie du Canal, L'Oasis d'Oremi, Le 6b, the Metaxu barge, Lil'Ô and Jardin21. Along the Canal de l'Ourcq, , you can take part in a number of free water sports activities. Pedalos, kayaks, zodiacs, inflatables or even paddleboats - you're spoilt for choice!

Creative workshops such as silk-screen printing, street art initiation, guided walks , bike rides and kayak tours that will teach you more about the heritage of the Paris region are added to a participatory picnic and a walk around the Olympic legacy, not forgetting the celebration of the bicentenary of the Canal Saint-Martin!
