The Domaine national de Saint-Cloud is one of the most beautiful spots in the Paris region. The gigantic park, the garden of a vanished château, awaits you, much to the delight of those who wish to find themselves in a whirlwind of greenery.
Although the Château de Saint-Cloud ceased to exist at the end of the 19th century, its 460-hectare park has lost none of its superb character and still retains the festive spirit that marked the history of the estate in the 18th century. In those days, it hosted many fine events, including the Foire de Saint-Cloud, and today it is still this festive aspect that makes it a place firmly anchored in the hearts of many of its visitors.
Among the flagship events usually hosted in this remarkable garden are the Rock en Seine festival and the Grand Feu de Saint-Cloud, an exceptional fireworks display. Although the 2019 event was unable to take place in its original form due to a lack of funding, part of the production team rallied round to put on a magnificent alternative show called Les Pleins Feux. It's hard to imagine depriving the estate of its beautiful events!
