- Rambo
John Rambo is a Vietnam War hero who wanders from town to town in search of his former comrades-in-arms. Just as he's about to head into a small town for a bite to eat, Sheriff Will Teasle arrests him for vagrancy. Imprisoned and mistreated by abusive police officers, Rambo goes berserk, fleeing into the woods after injuring numerous officers. Hunted like an animal, the ex-soldier is forced to kill a policeman in self-defense. From then on, the local police and the National Guard deployed considerable resources to track down the fugitive. Colonel Trautman, his mentor, intervenes and tries to dissuade the two sides from killing each other, while Rambo, cornered and wounded, goes to war against the authorities.

- Rambo II
John Rambo is serving a prison sentence when Colonel Trautman lets him out on a delicate mission: to prove that there are still American prisoners in Vietnam.
Supposedly an observer, Rambo disobeys orders and attempts to rescue a prisoner. Murdock, the man in charge of the mission, decides to abandon him in enemy territory. Rambo, alone, unarmed and facing the enemy, plans his revenge and return home.

- Rambo III
Colonel Trautman contacts Rambo in his retreat in Thailand, asking him to accompany him on a dangerous mission to Afghanistan. But the ex-soldier refuses, in order to devote himself to the Buddhist monks who have taken him in.
When, a few days later, Agent Griggs tells him that Trautman has been captured by Colonel Zaysen, Rambo decides to save his friend. He infiltrates enemy lines and discovers the full horror of the conflict pitting the Mujahideen against the Soviet army.
Determined, he takes on an entire army without forgetting his primary objective: to get Trautman back.

- John Rambo
John Rambo has retired to northern Thailand, where he leads a simple existence in the mountains and stays out of the civil war raging not far away on the Thai-Myanmar border. He fishes and catches poisonous snakes to sell.
The violence of the world catches up with him when a group of humanitarian volunteers led by Sarah and Michael Bennett come to find him and ask him to guide them to a refugee camp to which they want to bring medical aid and food. Rambo finally agrees, and takes them upriver to the other side of the border.
Two weeks later, Pastor Arthur Marsh tells him that the volunteers have not returned and that the embassies refuse to help him find them. Rambo knows better than anyone what to do in such a situation...

- Rambo: Last Blood
Fifth episode in the Rambo saga. Vietnam War veteran John Rambo takes on a Mexican cartel after the kidnapping of a friend's daughter.
