The Courtyard Garden of Plaza Athénée is stepping into cinema. From June 29 to July 4, 2026, this lush, forest-like setting will once again transform into an open-air cinema.
Six evenings, six cult films, six menus aligned with the storyline: here, the experience is in the original language (Original Version... and Olfactory Version). For each screening, the hotel’s chefs craft a dinner tied to the film’s universe, served in step with the plot, delivering an immersion that goes beyond the screen and lingers on the plate.

The setting, for its part, clearly warrants a close-up: drapes of greenery, red geraniums, moody lighting, sleek tables… and in the background, a screen more than five meters tall ready to grab the spotlight. Wireless headphones on, everyone enjoys the film as if in their own bubble — silence on set, rolling.
From 8:30 p.m., doors open to kick off the evening, with the screening starting at 9:30 p.m. Films are shown in their original language, with subtitles in French or English depending on the title, and the experience is open to ages 12 and up. A glass of champagne, along with water and hot drinks, are included in the menu to accompany dinner. The reservation is mandatory to secure a front-row seat… or thereabouts.
The Plaza Cinéma Club is making its return in 2026 with a refreshed program, built around a single idea: to bring every film to life off the screen, between large-format visuals and inspired dishes.
