You may have spotted Norman Reedus strolling through the streets of Paris. And no, you weren't dreaming: the actor has indeed been in the capital for several weeks shooting Daryl Dixon, the spin-off devoted to his character in The Walking Dead. The series, available on Paramount+, will take place entirely in Paris, and the setting hasn't been recreated- it's real! After a first shooting session in February, the series team returned to Paris to shoot the first scenes of season 2, on the Place du Louvre, closed this Tuesday, September 12 for the occasion, even though the first episodes of season 1 have just been broadcast. And it's not just the sets that are French, but the actors too! Several of the series' characters are played by actors from the home country. Leading the way is Clémence Poésy, revealed in Harry Potter and most recently seen in En Thérapie. The cast also includes Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebouaney, Laika Blanc-Francard, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi and Romain Levi.
