Want more John Wick? While the fourth installment has just been released in cinemas, and production of a fifth is still uncertain, a first series derived from the universe of the films is being created. The Continental: From the world of John Wick, is a three-part miniseries about the youth of Winston, the manager of New York's Continental Hotel, played by Ian McShane in Chad Stahelski's saga. Expected to air on Amazon Prime Video in September.
The series is set in the 1970s, long before the era of John Wick. Winston is a young man who has just been entrusted with the management of the Continental Hotel. We'll learn more about the universe so well developed in the four films. Colin Woodell succeeds Ian McShane in the role of WInston Scott. The cast also includes Mel Gibson, in an as yet unknown role.
