The Wages of Fear, an explosive film starring Franck Gastambide on Netflix in March 2024

The synopsis of this feature-length film promises to be thrilling: in the middle of the desert, an oil well goes haywire, threatening to decimate a nearby refugee camp. Time is running out when the experts dispatched by the oil company realize that their only salvation is to cause the oil well to explode using nitroglycerine in less than 24 hours. A crack team is formed, ready to transport 200 kg of explosives across the desert in two trucks.

It will take the team less than 20 hours to cover 800 km of hostile terrain, cross minefields and avoid armed rebels, all in two trucks full of nitroglycerine! The race against time is on...
