Fancy playing a board gameand enjoying an aperitif at the same time, just like at home? Visit Le Duchesse, a steampunk-inspired games bar with an original decor, where you can enjoy a good time with friends, while nibbling on delicious little dishes.
We're greeted near the Belleville metro station by stunning portraits of cats and dogs, which are in fact the pets of the game bar's owners! A fun decor in a rather large and friendly space, with its pretty wooden tables. In one corner, you'll find a veritable treasure trove, with hundreds of board games to suit all tastes! Whether you're a great strategist, an intellectual or a lover of jokes, Loïc and Greg will be able to recommend the perfect game to help you enjoy your evening!
Le Duchesse opens in the early evening, between 4 and 5 p.m., to enjoy an aperitif, and stays open until midnight, with a menu of cocktails, beers and softs (natural fruit juices, teas, coffees) that can make your games even more incredible! Passionate about both board games and bistronomy, the two managers make everything themselves, from tapenade and crème brûlée to croque-saumon! Don't forget to try the homemade hummus and one of the tasty croque-monsieur!
As with most gaming bars, the concept is simple: you pay 3 euros per person to enjoy as many games as you like, and you consume every hour.
How about a little game?
