Synopsis of the escape game Le Trésor de Sabre Rouge at Taktic :

"You are a team of privateers commissioned by King Louis XIV to put an end to the activities of numerous pirates in the Caribbean. Unofficially, your orders are to sink every English and Spanish ship you find. Your king needs to extend his influence in the Americas and conquer new territories to finance the fabulous château he's having built at Versailles. If it weren't for the English and Spanish, the Kingdom of France would undoubtedly be the most powerful!

One day, during an assault on a Spanish frigate, members of the crew you took prisoner confess their secret: their mission is to find the pirate Sabre Rouge, who has raided three gold-laden galleons returning from Mexico. The fortune stolen is colossal... So you decide to embark on this new adventure!

But as the years go by, Sabre Rouge is nowhere to be found. Despite his many misdeeds in the region, you can't find him. Your king is getting impatient, and so is your crew. Everyone is on edge. After several months of pointless tracking at sea, you decide to refuel one last time in the West Indies before heading back to France.Arriving at the port of Saint-Martin, you see the Triomphant, a French naval vessel that you know with certainty was attacked by Sabre Rouge, as you rescued the last surviving crew member... Could it be that... No... Sabre Rouge wouldn't dare seize one of His Majesty's ships...".
