Pokémon Presents: a recap of the announcements made at Pokémon Day 2025

Every year, The Pokémon Company organizes a Pokémon Presents: a major online and video conference, unveiling upcoming games and major events around the Pokémon license. In 2025, this conference took place on February 27 at 3 p.m., on the occasion of Pokémon Day.

At Pokémon Presents in 2024, fans were treated to the trailer for Pokémon Legends Z-A, and the Pokémon Pocket CCG, a mobile trading card game. Fans of the license therefore had high hopes for this year, eagerly awaiting to see what the Japanese company had in store for us in the months to come...

The Pokémon Presents video lasted around twenty minutes. Most of the announcements focused on new events and updates to existing games. The conference did, however, throw in a few surprises... Here's what you didn't want to miss at Pokémon Presents.

• Pokémon TCG Pocket : a new booster collection arrives on February 28 with Lumière Triomphale. The mega-evolution is also coming soon.
• A new game presented: Pokémon Champions should be available on both console and smartphone.
• A brand-new trailer for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and an interesting look at the all-new battle system.

Get ready to capture all these new pocket monsters with your Pokéballs! And don't forget the big event of the summer: the Pokémon GO Fest, which is stopping off in Paris this year. We're currently awaiting the opening of ticket sales for this major gathering, scheduled for the summer of 2025.
