The Pokémon universe expands a little further with a totally new story, that of The Pokémon Receptionist, a stop-motion Netflix animated series due December 28 on the streaming platform.
This children's series focuses on an island paradise where Pokémon come to spend their vacations. And the first trailer hints at an adorable, soothing and "kawaii" tale. Visually, the series is reminiscent of the work done on Rilakkuma and Kaoru, another Japanese animation series signed by Netflix.
Welcome to the Hotel Pokémon, a peaceful oasis where Pokémon come to have fun and relax. Which adorable guest will Haru, the new receptionist, meet first? As she and her colleagues try to meet the expectations of the various Pokémon staying at the establishment, Haru gradually comes to know herself.
