Umasqu: masks to hang on the wall

For a house that looks just like us, let’s decorate our walls with masks created by Tzachi Nevo at Umasqu. Works of art and decoration we find in different stores in Paris such as BHV and Fleux.

Because we don’t want Mrs. Average’s interior, Umasqu masks to hang on the wall bring some fantasy to our indoor. Let’s go on a shopping spree at BHV and Fleux or even at The Cool Republic.

Created by designer Tzachi Nevo, Umasqu – or Urban Masquerade – imagines masks to hang on the wall. It leads to decoration as playful as they are colorful and are an invitation to travel.

Whether you’re more into faces or animal heads, graphic or abstract, I know one thing for sure, the originality of the proposition is very delighting.

Unique and singular pieces made of wood, laser cut and assembly in the Tel-Aviv-based studio, then hand-painted by craftsmen. The result is always merry and awakens your imaginary.

We have a soft spot for “Modern Africa Mask #10” that seems to smile all the time.

In the Lucky Charm collection, we must give an honorable mention to “Eye #5”. Here, Tzachi Nevo revisits the famous eyeshaped lucky charm. We love the pastel colors of this one, to look on the bright side of life.
