La Samaritaine, the legendary store on rue de Rivoli, is changing its decor this summer, until August 30, 2023, to honor the monument's past, around the theme of an amusement park! While you're shopping, you'll enjoy a host of fun and colorful activities, and rediscover your childlike soul, between greed and fantasy: arcade games, a ball pool, distorting mirrors, hoop tonic classes, pincer machines, dart boards, and other attractions for an air of funfair in the heart of the capital!
If we're telling you that the theme echoes the site's past, it's becauseErnest Cognacq, founder of the Samaritaine, set up the city's very first amusement park on the quays of the Seine in 1900, called"Magic City"! 123 years later, a festive atmosphere can be found on the floors of the historic shopping center, thanks to a collaboration with the Musée des Arts Forains and the Musée du Jeu de Paume.
A digital work by 3D artist Clément Morin is also projected onto the facade and into the store!

A free, masterful and surprising installation in honor of Louis Vuitton's dotted new collaboration with the famous designer. [Read more]
