Founded by Chitose Abe in Tokyo in 1999, Sacai quickly made a name for itself thanks to its singular approach blending luxury and streetwear. Abe, formerly of Comme des Garçons, brings a unique look to the brand, favoring innovative cuts and juxtapositions of fabrics. The Japanese label stands out for its hybrid pieces blending several styles into a single garment, as well as for its collaborations, which were snapped up as soon as they were released, notably with Nike.
