Since 2022, the Salon du Livre de Paris has been transformed into a festival. This new edition finally returns to the Grand Palais and awaits book lovers from April 11 to 13, 2025.

In 2022, regular visitors to the Salon du Livre de Paris discovered a totally transformed event. After two editions cancelled due to the health crisis, the literary fair changed its format to become a festival. From April 11 to 13, 2025, the Paris Book Festival returns for its fourth edition, but at last back at the Grand Palais, after many years outside the walls.

Under the majestic glass roof, celebrate books in all their forms, in the place where they were born. In 1981, the Syndicat National de l'Édition created the Salon du Livre de Paris to showcase the variety of French publishing. The Grand Palais was chosen as the venue for this event, which has become a fixture in the literary world, before moving on to the Porte de Versailles in the 90s and the Grand Palais Ephémère since 2022.

The full program will soon be available on the festival website, but numerous authors, publishers and booksellers will be on hand to celebrate books and reading. Filmmakers, actors, visual artists and musicians will also be invited to take part in this great celebration of culture and reading, with musical readings, comic encounters, writing workshops and the Grande Dictée on April 11.
