Good news for gourmands, gastronomes, Sunday chefs and all those who love good food: the Taste of Paris will return to the historic Grand Palais - after several editions in the ephemeral Grand Palais - in 2025, from May 8 to 11.
Every year, some of Paris's finest chefs set up their ephemeral restaurants in a large festival open to all, to present their signature dishes, which can be tasted in small portions. Around thirty chefs are expected to take part each time. They include chefs from top restaurants, Michelin-starred chefs and chefs from Parisian palaces, as well as pastry chefs and former Top Chef contestants.
This year, you'll discover a new generation of chefs who are reinventing French gastronomy with creativity and commitment. These emerging talents, accompanied by their elders, have worked in some of the world's most prestigious establishments and are now establishing themselves firmly on the Parisian culinary scene. Street food will also be in the spotlight, with brilliant restaurateurs and self-taught chefs who have revolutionized this cuisine to make it a true culinary experience. And for those with a sweet tooth, some of the world's finest pastry chefs will be on hand to delight your taste buds. Come and meet these renowned chefs, discover their new signatures, and take part in a unique gastronomic experience accessible to all.

Presented as a gastronomic festival, Taste of Paris is much more than that: you come to eat the best of Parisian cuisine, during lunch hours (11:30am to 4pm), and dinner (7pm to 11:30pm). But that's not all!
Inside the ephemeral spot, facing the Eiffel Tower, stands reproduce the kitchens of restaurants with their chefs and brigades... We're treated to live demonstrations by the great names in gastronomy, as well as a drinks program.
In fact, the show features a whole delegation dedicated to the beverages that accompany your meal. From champagne and cocktail bars to beer, wine, coffee and water bars, you can meet a host of experts and their products, to complete your gastronomic visit.
Each dish costs between €6 and €12. To enjoy your meal, you'll need a prepaid card given to you at the entrance. The idea is then to take a dish and/or a dessert, here and there, aided by the program that presents all the chefs' dishes, and enjoy them on a table or stand-up table.
Our first piece of advice: choose the day you're coming. Yes, for several years now, Taste of Paris has offered a rotating program of chefs. Depending on the day you choose, you'll meet different chefs: coming back to this festival several days in a row means you'll have a unique experience every time you visit.
Then, set a small budget. Don't come empty-handed to Taste of Paris. In fact, note that you have to pay for the entrance AND the dishes you want to taste inside. As explained above, you'll need to credit a card at the entrance, in order to be able to order from the stands. To eat well and discover the various chefs' specialities, expect to pay at least between 25 and 40 euros per person, otherwise you'll be disappointed! Last but not least, arrive early and give priority to the stands you're most eager to try out, even if it means dividing up to get the best deal. Some restaurateurs are very successful, but it's all a bit fluid.
And take advantage of all these top culinary professionals to learn a few tricks of the trade! Enthusiasts looking to learn can book small-scale workshops with the chefs (very popular), cooking classes and top-flight masterclasses.
Taste of Paris is also an opportunity to discover the great producers and artisans who have come from all over France to offer the quality raw materials needed for fine cuisine at the stands between the restaurants. A beautiful market where you can pay with your prepaid festival card or cash (to be collected in advance).
